You’re sitting with your coffee when you feel it – eyes on you. You look up, meet a man’s gaze, and just like that he looks away as if he’s been caught. It’s confusing, even a little funny. What is actually going on?
There isn’t one answer. A stare can mean interest, nerves, distraction, or nothing at all. But there are patterns, and once you know them it gets easier to read the moment.
He Finds You Attractive
The most obvious explanation is attraction. He likes the way you look and is trying to sneak a glance.
The quick turn is his way of hiding it. Maybe he doesn’t want to come across as pushy. Maybe he’s shy and not sure what to do with the sudden eye contact.
If it happens once, it could be chance. If it keeps happening, the attraction angle becomes more likely.
